Heritage Open Days – September 16th

The Crowle Peatland Railway is excited to announce our participation in the Heritage Open Days event in September, celebrating the theme of “The Arts of Lincolnshire – Creativity Unwrapped”. Visitors will have the opportunity to step aboard our historic railway and explore the unique history and natural beauty of the Lincolnshire peatlands.
As part of the Year of Reading celebrations, we are thrilled to have children’s author Addy Farmer leading workshops focused on creativity around mud and peat.

During the Heritage Open Days event, visitors will be able to enjoy a range of activities and attractions, including guided tours of the railway, peatland walks. Our team of knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions visitors may have about the railway and the surrounding area.
